Who We Are

   Our organization thrives on the same principle we have had since starting all our businesses: a sincere attitude of helping people solve their problems with empathy. Patiently listening to customers while offering timely professional answers and solutions to the best of our abilities. Buyers normally spend a lot of time shopping around looking for the best option. Our agents are trained according to our requirements not to offer only solutions based on available part numbers on their computer screens so that they can move on to the next customer request. Buyers waste valuable time online and on the phone calling several sellers and having to decide under pressure what to purchase. We strive to offer more than professionally supported solutions to problems. Our sales process is supported by transparency and integrity to minimize stress.


   We began corporate operations in 2002 as Vicotek, LLC in Birmingham, AL with the main goal of providing quality and reliable equipment and parts for the Utility Service and Construction Industry Fleet including Aerial and Underground Electrical Power Lines, Forestry - Tree Care, Telecommunications, Traffic Lights, Sign, Oil, and Mine Industries. Also, Consulting Services on International Business related to these markets and products were highly demanded. With our vision in mind and more than 35 years of experience in designing, repairing, and selling fleet equipment, we have expanded our reach beyond the United States’ boundaries with regular customers in Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Many customers became regular and requested support with  similar kind equipment with different applications which prompt Vicotek to expand operations to supply additional types of equipment that includes the marine, alternative industrial and commercial electric power, ports, and airports sectors worldwide. Vicotek currently functions as the headquarters of the company group with operations in Huntsville, AL, home of the NASA US Space and Rocket Center and many technologically innovative corporations that are sources of inspiration and business opportunities.


    Mapartex, LLC opened in 2020 in Atlanta GA as a new Vicotek filial corporation to service the Truck Equipment and other Industrial and Commercial Mobile Equipment worldwide market. The large city of Atlanta, which boasts a growing technological industry, is home to the busiest international airport in the world, with direct flights to many domestic and international cities—which optimizes the shipping of our sales. The Port of Savannah, GA is very important for our export operations.


Our view of selling not only new but used and remanufactured equipment and parts is not only based on our mission to offer less expensive options to our customers when it is viable but to be conscious about sustainability. Many of these equipment and parts are stored outdoor or end in landfills loaded with harmful oils and other materials potentially spilling to the environment. At the same time, many customers depend on purchasing them at an affordable cost to make a living to provide for their families, which is the case of many countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. We buy these products, overhaul them when needed, and then we offer them to our customers worldwide through our international filial companies or partners. We do our part to preserve our planet.


All the companies we partner or are affiliated with have a deep commitment to supporting humanitarian causes – mainly in regions where the poverty level and other human suffering is considerably high. We keep track of all natural disasters threatening the different areas we serve and are ready to help in any possible way. Regions affected by natural disasters such as hurricanes or tornadoes need their fleet of equipment up and running as soon as possible to be able to attend the desperate demand for their services.

Providers' Opportunities & Business Support

For many years we relied on our suppliers for equipment, parts and industry-related products. This consolidated business relationship has been expanded with partnerships seeking efficient outreach to neglected markets causing their brands to stand out against their competition.


Providers have a hard time dealing with requests for parts for out-of-market or obsolete equipment. Still customers need for these equipment to be repaired since they cannot afford a replacement and these equipment are vital pieces of their revenue stream. We keep track of all these equipment and offer alternative affordable solutions following the manufacturers' safety and engineering considerations.


Several suppliers keep us up-to-date with their inventory, mainly the stock they need to get rid of via liquidation at a must-sell price.


Having the manufacturers' technical and engineering support that we can share with our customers is the most important piece of this puzzle. Suppliers are then able to focus on their innovative projects and on attending their premium markets while still keeping their brands present in under-served markets with outstanding reviews and recommendations.  

Maintenance and Repair Collaboration

Maintenance is the indispensable link between manufacturers and equipment users. Repair and Service Centers are a very important part of our service network. We own and partner with several Service Centers in U.S., the Caribbean and Latin-America. We keep their staff up-to-date and trained on troubleshooting different equipment and parts, maintenance and repair according to the manufacturers' guidelines.


Most of the time Customers ask us for repair and installation services. Likewise, many Repair Shops ask us for Customer Referrals. In this way we support our market with the Best Referral, Recommendation and Reviews System to help related businesses consolidate, grow, and expand.


We provide many Service Centers with parts and equipment for their customers. In addition, many of our overseas Service Centers are provided with the best tools and shop equipment in the market.

   
Video Troubleshooting Support is the most common assistance we provide to these Service Centers overseas or in remote areas, sometimes in conference with the manufacturers' engineering support.
